#4-A difference lies!

We hang out with many!
A smile with every passer-by!
A hearty laugh with every companion!
But how do we define a mate?!


You might have differentiated!
An ally and a foe!
A collaborator and a competitor!
A teammate and an opponent!!


But did you ever distinguish!
Between a Acquaintance & a Friend!
For, that matters the most!
When you look around with needful eyes!!


A friend takes the initiative!
To pull you up from your mess!
To free you from your worries!
To bring cheerfulness to your life!!


To make your path thorn-less!
To break your hassles!
For,you be yourself with him!
Without the mask of undisclosed thoughts!!


Assuming a fairy-tale life!
I ignored the antagonists!
But not after being perturbed!
By an 'assumed' mate!!


He showed every intention to encourage me!
Every reason to support me!
Every power to stand by me!
But in reality,on the backside, didn't!!


Awakening to the appalling truth!
Submitting myself to dismay!
I consoled by saying!
May be,he was an acquaintance!!


After all,I wasn't convinced!
But I realized!
My grandma spoke about his breed!
For,they lie everywhere!
Better be geared up & dissect!
For,a Difference Lies!!  :)
