The Summer sparks...

Ah...Within two days I will be flying back to Pilani! That marks the end of the two and a half months vaccation.Unlike the usual boredom..this summer has been spent rather cheerfully. Now looking back...It has been a good productive one for me.
I have been engrossed in reading novels through out.A good dose of fictitious characters are still revolving around my head. One day I even woke up uttering the name of one of the suspects in a murder mystery.I have started reading literature only a year back..but this summer had given me a good chance to exploit some."The Gamechangers"..."If God was a Banker"..."Hakuna Matata-Life is calling"..."Right Fit Wrong Shoe"..."Nothing can be as crazy"..."Chai for beginners"(dont let the name fool u)..."Chicken soup for soul"..."Anything for u ma'am"..."Inspector Singh investigates"..."The Winning way".I have completed them all.A good substantial work done considering my reluctance and laziness!I hope to continue my passion for reading.
As posted earlier..I have done a summer internship. It did make a huge impact on me.The daily routine of going to office looked good for once....I know, its the freshers' anxiety. In a nutshell...I have been blossomed by the work exposure to the corporate world.
And the obvious factor would be FIFA.I have seriously completed the manager mode(Simmed the last part though! :P).That really made my mind work on the managerial lines.I now understand ...Kenny,Alex,Wenger,Mourinho and all the managers out there..they all belong to a different breed.Reading the daily transfer gossips took away a considerable amount of time per day.I would definitely relish this time in future.
And the best part would be for my first bike. The new CBZ Xtreme.Ah..I loved riding it.Any hint of overcast conditions with a mild rainy touch...I would go for a long drive. The picturesque atmosphere with greenery would be a treat for your eyes when you are just changing the gear from the fourth to the fifth. The experience would be a sheer bliss.I wish I could carry it to pilani (wishes doesn't always come true bro!).
And above all..I fulfilled my long lasting wish to blog. For all u readers..this might just be one other article or may be even trash for uninterested people. But only from the experience did I know..every word coming onto this blog goes through a full time processing in the mind.Every phrase or sentence comes out from the passion to write. Not only me..I have seen several other bloggers in summer who have similar feelings.I hope to keep this blog alive in the coming months. After all...the passion needn't always show but the burning needs fueling!
With just hours away from leaving home...I wish I could stop the clock for once. While the mixed feelings for leaving home creeps up...the same freshers' excitement still beckons me.I wish I had enough adroitness to cross the same path many times by the same emotions. But above all...I know..My future is waiting. My Life is calling! :)

Life Goes On..!!

You haven't paid your rent,
Landlord isn't much of a friend,
He wants his 50 dollars 3 cents,
Or you'll be booked for offence.
You'll be kicked out, but
Find new house, new town.
For life goes on.

Her name is Alice,
Yesterday you got your first kiss,
Today she tells it is all over,
She saw you with another miss.
Before you tell her it was your sis,
It's a bye-bye-Alice.
Alices will go but sallies will come.
Don't worry, Life goes on.

You've finally find a new job.
Good pay, not much work on the shop.
Your pocket's picked on the morning train.
"Oh my God," you'r late again.
The boss doesn't listen, says you are outta job,
You are a rolling stone again.
Don't worry they say "It can't get worse."
And Life rolls on.

Got no girl to call your own,
No job, no money, no home,
You've been searching for a bench to sleep on.
Everything's so bleak 'n forlorn.
Life's a roller coaster, with its ups and downs.
Life goes on.

There's one thing you've got to learn,
Life's full of twists and turns.
You've got to break the rocks in the hot sun,
For the tide to turn.
If there is night, there has to be dawn.
Life goes on.

Yesterday may have been shit,
Today you may be a complete misfit,
But tomorrow's a new day,
So you don't give up that weeny ray.
You've got to pray, dream, hope and move on,
Because Life goes on.

The band's gone, the applause over, but let me reveal this is not a poem written by me. (:P)I read it in a novel and is highly fascinated by it because I wish to have similar feelings for life.Someday I wish to write this well.Someday I want to be successful despite all the obstacles and then tell myself "After all...Life goes on!!" :)

P.S(1)... I Love You !!

P.S-1(The abbreviated version of Practice School 1) is a summer internship program of BITS,Pilani.
I did my PS at Hyderabad Industries Ltd.A very rich cultured organisation. An out-and-out domestic leader competitor.A perfect place to nurture your skills pertained to the corporate world.I gained immense technical knowledge from the industry.I had the opportunity to interact with many professional experts and learn from them.Apart from these all...I met some 'wonderful'(the word deeply attached to our PS mates) guys.
A guy who never really let the attention point towards him but cleverly managed to do a fantastic piece of work.May be his simplicity speaks for himself.A person who set the example by his intensified cohesiveness and modesty. An individual who was aloof. He doesn't even have a fb account.(Being a Bitsian...this is worth minding!)A person who never really mingled with us but had a special smile on his face throughout. His bright and delighted look might win innumerable hearts.A couple of guys who were ready with their witty responses every time helped me make the environment around us lively.A childhood friend whom I have met years after coming out of school. His FIFA maniacness made us bond together strongly.A distinctive group consisting of a bizarre introvert and an out of cocoon  individual.A gal who had every right to dominate others(considering the intelligence quotient) but never really sprung into action.Too calm, too composed and too attentive.May be she knew the importance of being the non-striker and letting the show being run. A hugely admired quality which I would crave for.A special mention would be for an eccentric person. The odd, unsual one who was the laugh riot. Not merely by cracking jokes but by having an out-of-the-box interactive attitude. The one who never really cared before speaking and uttered the craziest possible words sometimes leading to a huge burst of laughter and otherwise to a mere embarrassment.May be he did not have the 'mask' which others of his age have to hide the disgraceful comments from heart.May be too pure by heart or a childish immaturity.Whatever it is...I now have a set of lovely allies for the rest of my life.
For me,P.S was a happy course.I got a bunch of close moving friends to hang out with...a gang which I desired for a long time after my close ones deserted me by moving away from Hyderabad. The agenda of giving corporate and professional exposure was more than satisfied. The matured and sensible 'me' had a chance to grow his wisdom.
I also learned something else. When I got HIL as my intern station...many people perceived it as a wrong option. They thought..may be I could have opted for a better station.Little did they knew about what my destiny had in store for me.Now I feel, that was the best possible place for me.I could not have chosen a better platform to thrive upon. After all...Steve Jobs was right.During his commencement speech at Stanford University, he said "Dots can only be connected seeing them backwards...not forward".The outright statement would be to take the life as it comes(if u don't have an option).Destiny would take care of the rest! Love you P.S-1 !! :)

'Dada'giri..

Sourav Chandidas Ganguly.By all means...the main person who needs to be accredited for  revolutionizing the Indian cricket. The one who led the team not merely by managing..but by leading.Off the ground..his humbleness itself could easily attract millions of followers. On the pitch..he was a class apart. He had a square drive to die for.He was termed the "God of Off side".He had a strong fighter-cum-champion attitude. He was the one who drove us into the final of 2003 World Cup.In various occasion, I was awe struck for his brave and fearless decisions. If not for his decision to declare the innings and take up a chance to bowl out Aussies at Eden gardens,Kolkata  in a test match in 2001(The same one in Which laxman scored 281) the perception of a win would never have changed in the Indian cricket scenario.I also recollect another act of Lord's balcony.
It was the natwest Series Final in 2002.India vs England.I remember England scoring a huge score of 325(In those days anything above 300 was a tough target).Viru and Dada were off for a flying start. They had a century partnership. All of our family members were watching it joy fully(But dad wanted news channel :P).Things were looking pretty good. But then..the typical Indian batting order had a tale. They were habituated to fall together. And in no time..all the five special batsmen's were back in the pavilion.Just then atmosphere had changed. The match was supposedly over.(hardly minutes back..we were jumping over every boundary scored..but now disappointed faces were evident..no body in house spoke anything.By now..we had prepared to watch the full match) The world hardly knew that relatively inexperienced Yuvraj and Kaif were ready to fight the battle of their life. They had a show under their sleeve.Suddenly they started to build the innings.Tension surrounded every ball being bowled.(Frequently..camera turned towards ganguly..who was seen biting his nails and sitting with his legs on the balcony support).Things changed in no time.(When I called my friends, I gotta knew that no one was watching it and every one responded surprisingly when I told them the score..obviously..i was happy that I dint miss anything).Just then..Yuvraj top edged a catch to a fielder at short-fine leg at a score of 69.I was horrified of imagining a twist in the penultimate stage. But Kaif ensured a smooth finish. India won the match of an over-throw with few balls still remaining.(Kaif dived in for the first run..but the second run was easy)Then..the long silence erupted everywhere..in the house and in the stadium. We were jumping in amusement.Then...I saw Ganguly taking his shirt off and celebrating.Like that of a king enjoying after winning a war.He had his own expression. One of the finest pictures to store in your life-long memory.Whatever it may be...that moment will be enshrined by every Indian.
By this time...the royal Bengal tiger had collected enough fans.May be he had a special link with Lord's.(Like what Kumble had to Feroz shah Kotla)He also made his test debut there and scored a century in it.
For all the beautiful memories and trophies...for all the successful endeavors...for all the mesmerizing square drives....  Happy B'day Sourav Chandidas Ganguly!! :)

If Telugu media covered EPL !!!

For the past few days every Telugu news channel was busy stitching up special stories and programs.Be it Botsa becoming the new PCC Chief or the Telangana MLA's plan for resigning. Some shows were really awful and could not conclude a point even after Innumerable cues.I wondered what would happen if they all covered the prestigious English Premier League.
Like what sakshi TV does to Y.S.Rajashekhar Reddy...flower's showering on his photo at the top corner of the screen...will Ferguson's photo stand beside a huge number 19?.TV9's Ravi Prakash would have conducted a meeting with Kenny and Ancelloti(I know he is sacked) over the Torres's transfer request with phone calls coming from Liverpudlians all over the world when Roman Abramovich is present on live Video Conference(Too busy a person to come down to studio). Will ETV2 conduct a forum calling all Soccer Pundits to discuss about Wenger's inner thoughts to contain Fabregas even after the repeated saga every season. Will the cartoonists make a mockery of Joe cole after he was termed the "New Messiah" and now hardly finding a place on the bench. The clipping "Emi setu ra linga" would show a widened Harry Redknapp's face emphasizing his comments to retain Luka Modric and Gareth Bale in a paradoxical way.Today being Aquilani's B'day...the heading might have sounded "The big shot returns!".Would the special 30 minutes show sound like "Will King Kenny uphold the trust of LFC to bounce back...Is Andre Villa Boas the right person to justify his job...Will Arsene Wenger finally splash cash...What are Fergie's intentions behind spending big...Stay tuned to listen to all these".The special flick Rahasyam would drill on Dalgish's objective of securing midfielders 400% surplus to requirements.Y.S Jagan might have invested in Blackburn Rovers and using publicity in his channel (Special presentations on Samba,Robinson and Roberts once in every hour), he would have convinced the entire state that it is the best franchise in the league.(Don't laugh...he his capable of doing it).The hot discussion would be on Villa Boas becoming the youngest premier league manger.TV9 would run sms polls asking "Will Sir Alex Ferguson ever retire??...send your option y/n to 57557" (:P). On 28/05/12..will their show's title be "The Day Lionel Messi raped Manchester united".(I know...too offensive a title)
I cant imagine it to happen.Game's charm and dignity is to be maintained.
Thank god...Telugu media doesn't cover English Premier League. !! :)
